Our story begins with the tragic end of the former sentient race who
destroyed themselves, and most of the planet, in their greed and lust for
life, coupled with their utter disregard and lack of respect for their
environment.
Within the conflagration of their explosive demise, Salamader, archetype
of fire, decrees a new evolutionary cycle to commence.
Slowly life reshapes itself upon the vortex of destruction.
New life forms become more sophisticated and complex
Until, finally, a semblance of sentients walks, once again, upon the earth.
And behold, Wyverex, an ancient symbol of balance, without stasis,
becomes the dominant species.
